Job loss pending

Filed under: Uncategorized — macyhater @ 12:21 pm

I called this new round of job eliminations, layoffs.  The reality is, they are job elimination.  A layoff can mean you might get called back.  These jobs won’t be.  Let’s look at the evolution of Macy’s since the merger with May.  1st, they laid off a bunch of  extra people, this is understandable, since there were a lot of multible people for 1 position.  Then the stock tanked… lost $30.00 + per share.   Jackass Lundgren, pee’s his pants, then starts cutting back at a record pace.  First he downsizes the stores, cuts sales help,,, great move dumbass.  Customers drop merchandise on the cash stand and walk out, because nobody is around to help them.  He see’s sales continue to drop, so he cuts sales help some more, can you see the mentality here.  Now that he’s down to a skeleton crew on the floor, which is ironic, since Macy’s is slowly dying, now he’s cutting management.  No sales help for customers, and now no managers to sooth the disgruntled customer.  He’s also closing all gift wrap sections in the ones that had that service left.  More customer service gone.  Why would you buy anything at Macy’s when you can get the same products at target and Walmart.  You get the same customer service as you do at Walmart.  But Dumbass Lundgren, still thinks you will pay a premium, just to carry a Macy’s bag.  So go to Macy’s, ask for a few shopping bags, the $7.50 an hr associate will give them to you, they don’t care, and then you can put your Target, Kmart, Walmart items in them, and look the part, while saving $$$$$$$$$$$.
